Our 7" (177.8 mm) J-Bolt is constructed of high-strength steel with a black enamel finish. It features a steel ball bearing for smooth operation, a grease fitting for lubrication, and can be either welded or bolted on. The bolt is 3/4" (19.050 mm) in diameter. It has a rated capacity of up to 900 lbs (408.6 kg).

I have 2 6' x 6' gates across my 12' wide driveway framed with 2x4 treated wood and 5/4 1"x4" cedar pickets attached to the frame. Unequivocally, 2 of these J-bolts hold each of these gates with NO SAG. I can even ride my 200 lb+ body on the gates and they don't sag and will still engage the lock with me standing on the gates. Great product!!
